A comment on the last blog entry asked how many chapters there are going to be.
This I do not know for sure.  Even if I did have a guess, it would probably end up being wrong.  Still, I have a goal: LOTS!  I want there to be LOTS of chapters.  The more the better.  Yes, I know.  Not too specific.
My other goal involving chapters is to write one every week.  This is a highly idealistic goal, but during summer at least, I think I can do it easily.  In the fall this may change, but I'll do my best.
Five handwritten pages on the first chapter so far.  Until next time...

Yeah, I couldn't really think of a creative title for this one at all and I'm too tired to make the attempt.  I've started work on the first chapter, and since I already have bits and pieces of it from before, I should be done before this weekend.  That's IDEALISTIC, not REALISTIC.  But we shall see.  Bye!

The prologue is up... huzzah!  XD
So all you good little children go and read it.  It will probably make zero sense to you, and that is okay.  The idea is that everything will start to make sense as the story goes on.  Next chapter I post will be in Zoe's perspective, which is fun.  Can't wait.
Okay, then, cya!

Hi again.  Sorry I haven't been doing much on here.  My computer has serious issues.  But I think they're all fixed now.  XD

So, since I feel like it, I am going to describe some characters.  I try to make them original, so I hope you like them. :)

Zoe Shadow: The main character (duh).  The book is being written in first person from her perspective, except for the prologue, because she's not even alive then.  First person has never been my strongest point so I don't know why I'm doing it... but I just think it fits the book better.  Zoe is the daughter of the famous actress Logan Shadow and the writer Fisk Shadow.  Her dad supposedly died in a car crash a few years back, but that is not true, as you will soon find out.  Zoe goes to the elite Redthorn Academy, and she's an eighth grader.  She has light brown hair and green eyes (which I have, but she's not supposed to look like me at all).  She has a gift for observing and being unseen.  She is a nice enough person but her failings are impatience and frustration.

Brianna Jacoby: She's Zoe's best friend.  Brianna is a very dedicated dancer and kind of a loud personality.  She is sort of based off of someone I know in real life but most of you won't know her.  Brianna is talented, supportive, kind, and brave, but sometimes she doesn't really think things through.  She goes to Redthorn as well.  Brianna has REALLY long, dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.

Bondivitsky Thomas: He's... complicated... yeah.  At the beginning he is a severe annoyance, complete with the nickname "Dumbledork," but then he becomes friends with Zoe and Brianna and gets caught up in Zoe's adventures as well.  His parents are not quite right, which is why his name is weird, but he soon gets a cool nickname... Bond.  Bond is really smart, brave, a little annoying, thoughtful, and perserverent.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  There is a secret thing that I probably should not tell you involving Zoe... and Bond... together... and that is all I shall say.

Okay, well that's all for now... they're the basic Trio of this story.  I'll add some really cool more minor characters soon, but this post is way too long anyway.  So, bye!

Hello, people of earth.  Unless you're not on earth, in which case please contact earth and let them know.
I'm writing this awesomely beast mode prologue to the book!  And it's SO COOL!  It's going to make it a lot easier for me to really get into writing the book.  Until now, I was writing it non-linearly... which means, not in order.  It's good and fun but not too effective, for me.
The prologue is going to be all cool and epic and somewhat perilous, and then I'm going to contrast that with the first chapter... which will be about Zoe Shadow's "normal" life.  They'll be completely different and I think somehow that will work well.
The prologue should be done by Wednesday, tomorrow.  I'll post it sometime this week.  Thanks for reading :D
