Zoe Shadow

Ideas are welcome... ideas on anything, everything, etc.  Some constructive criticism/genius stuff would be welcome right now!  So if you have ideas, give them here!

When I started writing this, I did it nonlinearly- that is, not in order- but now I've been doing it IN order... and I'm kinda bored of that... so I might start to do it NOT in order again.
Hmmm....
But I don't know which part to write!  I guess I will go and do one of the most epic parts because I feel this story is lacking in epicness.  Okay.  I'll do that.  Wow, I'm talking to myself.

I have the main ideas all figured out for the third chapter, which is coolio.  This is all like an endless cycle: Ideas, writing, typing, posting, rewarding feeling.  Ideas, writing, typing, posting, rewarding feeling.  On and on.  But it's all good, 'cuz I'm weird like that and I like it.

Um, yep!  The title pretty much explains it all!  The second chapter is indeed up!
Go!  Read it!  NOW!
And when you're done, please suggest some chapter names.  Because "Chapter 2" is not a very cool name!  Thanks so much.

I agree with Destiny, the title should be Waking Up.  I was leaning towards that one when I thought of it.  I'll go change that now.
I doubt that the second chapter will be up today, but tomorrow is still a possibility.  Keep checking back!  Thanks.

I've got six and a half handwritten pages of the second chapter so far, so it'll be kind of a stretch if it's finished in time to post tomorrow... but I'll try my best.  It's really taking shape.  This is the chapter where we're introduced to Zoe's friends and some of her school, which is no ordinary school.
Oh, and also, with some help from a commentor called "Spitfyre" (I know who you are!!!), I've come up with some possible names.  Please vote for your favorite(s).

I'm going away for a few days and in that time I hope to have finished or at least gotten some headway on the second chapter!  I have the concept of it kinda-worked-out but I haven't really started the writing... XP

Okay, so I'm going  to tell you about some more characters whether you like it or not so LISTEN HERE!  Er... I mean... READ HERE!

Ashlinn Cook- Zoe's Irish au pair!  She's pretty darn awesome.  It's enjoyable to write her dialogue.  You'll meet her in the first chapter, lucky you.  Anyway, it's her job to watch Zoe and be with her when her mom can't be (which is A LOT of the time!).  Zoe describes Ashlinn as "a hybrid cross between a mother and an older sister".  Ashlinn is very creative and sometimes makes up stories rather than tell it like it is.  She can be sarcastic, but she takes her job seriously too.  If Zoe wants to keep something from Ashlinn, then she had better try very hard...

Logan Shadow- Zoe's mother!  She's so famous it might make you sick!  Just kidding!  Actually, she's a very lovable celebrity with a hectic life.  She finds it hard to set aside time for her daughter, but she does try.  Sometimes Zoe thinks she just doesn't like her, but she does, really.  She's an actress in all the biggest, best movies and a few TV series.  Her husband died ten years ago and she copes pretty well, but she has shut out all other men from her life.  She isn't ready for a relationship... yet.  We shall see!

Fisk Shadow- Zoe's father!  Ooooh, mysterious!  Actually, I'm just realizing that I can't tell you anything about him because that would ruin the reading experience.  Sorry.  But I will tell you that he's a lot like Zoe.  In many ways.

The first chapter is almost done and looking pretty good!  I plan on finishing it tomorrow and typing it up Sunday.  It's interesting for me to write because it's the foundation for the story- the setup.  It shows Zoe's normal life, before everything starts to go nuts.  It's not exactly normal, seeing as her mom's a famous actress and all, but you know what I mean.
My only issue about it is thinking of a name for the chapter.  I want the chapters to have quirky names.  But I'm sure I'll think of something.  Any suggestions are welcome.  :D
